Hyde Putty Knives 09997 Editorial Review
The Hyde Tools 9998 24-inch acrylic knockdown knife is an excellent tool for creating a knockdown finish on walls and ceilings. The clear Lexan blade has the perfect amount of flex for Consistent patterns and is virtually unbreakable, which means it wears much longer than acrylic or other plastic blades. The knife is easy to use, even on high ceilings, when attached to a broom handle. The dimensions are 24" across the leading edge and 12" deep, not counting the handle. Customer experience and reception: Customers who have used the Hyde Tools 9998 24-inch acrylic knockdown knife are pleased with its ease of use and ability to create a Consistent pattern on walls and ceilings. Even customers who are amateurs appreciated its flexibility, and those who are professionals remarked on how it transformed their small drywall repairs to full-blown finish work. The clear Lexan blade was a hit with users, and the fact that it's virtually unbreakable and wears much longer than acrylic blades was another point in its favor. However, some customers received damaged packaging, while others found that it did not work for popcorn ceiling removal.
