However, the motor is not very quiet and doesn't seem to handle shipping very well, arriving with a thin aluminum fan wrapped in bubble wrap and floating in a box with the motor. Customers have reported issues with straightening the fins without distorting them. Despite the downsides, the APFM-161E works great and is an excellent option for small band saw motors, wood stove heat movers and an affordable solution for commercial refrigeration.
