The customer reception of this pastel set presents a mixed bag of experiences and assessments. Users appreciate the vibrant color selection, noting that for a smaller set, the variety is commendable. This attribute seems particularly appealing to beginners, older children, or those on a budget. Customers have highlighted that the colors can work well for drawing, adding a layer of versatility to the product. However, many reviewers express dissatisfaction with the blending capabilities of the pastels, reporting that they do not blend smoothly and tend to flake. This has been a Consistent point of criticism, as blending is a critical factor in pastel artwork and is vital for achieving desired effects. The pastels have also been described as crumbly, which can detract from the overall user experience. Some users liken the Consistency of these pastels to that of standard crayons, further indicating that they may not adequately fulfill the expectations of more experienced artists. Overall, while this set may serve as an accessible entry point for those new to pastels or those who are budget-Conscious, its performance limitations suggest that more serious artists might want to invest in higher quality alternatives for professional use. **
