Answer: Sofirm now sells one. -

If you turn this to Red and then turn it off, will it default to red each time you turn it back on? or do you have to cycle through each time?
Answer: You don't have to cycle it. Once turned off, it will return back to the standard mode. The only way to get to the red light is to click it 3-times from off. -

What kind of 21700 batteries should I be looking for in terms of discharge amps? What is the minimum needed?
Answer: The battery it comes with has a 10amp continues draw. If you can find a 21700 with 10amp draw you should be good. -
Question:
Is the warm white approximately as bright as the cool white setting?
Answer: At the same brightness setting in each color value, the warm white is just as bright but a much softer & less intense light, being it’s lower in the Kelvin scale. The color change when transitioning warm to cool is gradient vs. stepped, so you can dial it in to whatever suits your liking.
