Toyo Glass Cutting Tools TC17B Editorial Review
The Toyo TC17 Tap Wheel Oil Glass Cutter TC17VVB Brass Handle has received mixed reviews from customers. Some users found that with the right technique, it provided a nice clean break when scoring glass. However, others had issues with the stability of the cutting head, which swivels about a quarter turn each way, making it difficult to cut straight. Some users also noted that the cutting blade was shallow and resulted in jagged breaks. On the positive side, customers liked the solid and weighty feel of the cutter, as well as its good cutting action. It was also praised for being easy to fill with oil and for not leaking. Additionally, there were customers who mentioned that the cutter worked well for professional picture framing and that Toyo glass cutters are generally reliable. However, there were also complaints about receiving broken products and difficulties in achieving clean breaks. Overall, customer experiences with this glass cutter were mixed.
