The Gobe 49mm CPL ∆ filter is made of Japanese optical glass with a magnalium alloy rim. This circular polarizing filter has a 12-layer MRC coating that reduces reflections and bounces off light for a clear and sharp image. The filter reduces light entering the sensor by 1.33-2 f-stops, allowing a slower shutter speed to capture motion blur in landscape and outdoor photography. This filter is recommended for use with wide-angle and standard-length lenses. The filter is lightweight, and its grip is smooth. The filter comes well packaged, and the lens cap fits on well. The colors in landscape photography are vivid and boosted nicely. However, some users have complained that the filter is difficult to remove from the lens, which screws the base more tightly into the lens thread.
