There are no instructions for attaching to a Canon SX70. It can work with Canon Powershot SX540 HS, and SX530 HS. This product has received mixed reviews. Customers have reported that it works as intended, is reversible, and doesn't add weight. However, the product is made of cheap plastic, difficult to remove, and interferes with flash and focus assist beam. The build is a bit light and the lens hood is clumsy and annoying to reverse on Canon PowerShot Sx540 HS. The product is received by some customers as a junk, and not worth buying again, while others find it much needed for protecting the lens.
