Nutritionist's Take
Trace Minerals Ionic Potassium is a liquid supplement that offers potassium and magnesium, essential minerals that play vital roles in muscle function and overall cellular health. Nutritionists generally recognize the importance of these minerals for maintaining proper electrolyte balance, especially in active individuals. The ionic form may enhance absorption, a potential benefit for those struggling with mineral deficiencies. However, consumers should be cautious, as excessive potassium intake can lead to hyperkalemia, particularly in individuals with kidney issues. Additionally, while the product claims to support brain and muscle function, empirical evidence supporting these claims may be limited. Ingredient quality appears to be high, but it’s essential for consumers with specific dietary needs, such as those on low-sodium or low-potassium diets, to consult healthcare professionals before use. Overall, it could be a beneficial supplement for active individuals, yet careful consideration of dosage and personal health conditions is crucial.
Trace Minerals Potassium IOP01 Editorial Review
Trace Minerals Liquid Ionic Potassium is a dietary supplement that provides 99 mg of potassium and 72 trace minerals to help boost electrolytes, hydration, energy levels, and brain function. The product is available in a 2 fl oz bottle that provides 33 servings. The supplement has a slightly salty taste that can be masked by adding it to smoothies or juices. It is also recommended to dilute the supplement with plenty of water to avoid the strong salty taste. This product is a great option for people who are looking to supplement their potassium intake without having to eat bananas all day. It is also a great alternative for people who have trouble swallowing pills. Although some customers found the taste unpleasant, others found it to be mild and easy to take.
