What audio devices can I connect with this HDMI audio extractor?
Answer: Yes, the extractor has versatile connection options and can output audio to virtually any non-HDMI equipment, whether it's digital or analog. -

Can I use this in reverse by taking 3.5mm from my pc and HDMI to the one HDMI out to my TV?
Answer: The HD2A is only meant to extract audio from an HDMI source and output audio via the 3.5mm port. -

Would this function the other way around?
Answer: No, HD2A is designed to connect to an HDMI video source and then it splits the audio out to a 3.5mm speaker and the video to an HDMI display. -

Is this capable of 24 bit conversion?
Answer: Other information implies the converter is capable of 24-bit, 192 kHz audio. -
Question:
In reference to the HDMI audio extractor, will it handle TrueHD or Dolby Digital Plus and convert to stereo sound?

Can it be used with Chromecast?
Answer: I have mine plugged into an old receiver. I don’t know about Chromecast and not sure why you would do that. -

I need a coax cable in and an optical cable in from two different sources, pass each separately to a soundbar and switch outputs, will this do that?
Answer: I don't know. I just used it to convert the digital audio output to one that would work with my TV Ears. Worked fine for that.
