It is easy to assemble but it is advised to do it where it will be used as it is difficult to move once assembled. The corner posts are thin and the "boards" are pressed cardboard around 1/8 inch thick, meaning it may not be strong enough for heavy-duty storage. Some reviewers have used it for closet storage of paper goods, cleaning products, and seasonal decorations without issue. It is durable and sturdy for use as a storage rack for tools and cleaning supplies. The color of the shelves is pleasant blue.
