The Women's Grotto II Fashion Boot is a fashionable and well-made boot that is wider in size. Customers who wear wide shoes are very happy with the fit. However, it is recommended to order a half size up as it may run small. It is not designed to be a winter hiking boot, but they are warm enough for regular use and can be made warmer with the use of thick socks. The non-slip feature makes it suitable for food service environments. Although it is not recommended for work, some customers still use it for work purposes. The boots are reported to be stiff even after two months of daily usage and have a hard insole. The shoes collect foot odor and give off a strong chemical odor. Additionally, the sizing can be a bit confusing as it is labeled as men/women sizes but they run differently. They were found to have a tight fit with no leeway for adjustment, and must be broken in before using for work. The boots are also not very durable and can develop holes in the soles, and may not be good for any form of wear and tear. The color may also be different than what is shown in photos.
