The handle grip is made of plastic, and the shaft of the adjustment areas is carbon. However, there are some concerns about the handle assembly being in the way of hand placement and the handle being rough, which could cause discomfort. Additionally, in some cases, there was a missing screw. On the positive side, it proved to be sturdy and reliable in different environments such as lakes and oceans.
