Question:
What version of hdmi does this support? Can it support 4k @ 60hz?
Answer: Since we don't sell it, we recommend you to ask the seller of this product. -
Question:
Is the optical port an optical in or optical out? Is the hdmi in port the only input?
Answer: It has an HDMI input and optical output. HDMI is only for input. -
Question:
Does it keep the hdmi 7.1 sound?
Answer: My Sonos Playbar has been receiving 5.1, so I assume it would work for 5.1. -
Question:
Will these work with PC speakers?
Answer: Not 100% sure, but I think so. It works as a splitter with HDMI input and outputs for HDMI, optical (Toslink), and 7.1 speaker array. You may need to amplify the signal for direct speaker connection. -
Question:
Do the outputs mirror volume control of other devices (ex: chromecast sets soundbar volume via tv via cec)?
Answer: It's basically a multi-channel decoder. You have to add the power amp for all channels. The method depends on the Blu-Ray player you have, some put out 2 channels and others put out 8 channels.
