Nutritionist's Take
NOW Supplements Grape Seed Extract is recognized for its high polyphenol content, which is known for antioxidant properties that can help combat oxidative stress and promote cardiovascular health. The 500 mg dosage is fairly robust, making it a strong contender in the supplement market. Many nutritionists regard the ingredient quality as high, given NOW’s reputation for rigorous testing. However, potential drawbacks include the limited research on the long-term effects of high-dose grape seed supplements, as well as possible interactions with medications, particularly blood thinners. This product is suitable for vegetarians and can fit into various dietary needs but should be approached cautiously by individuals with underlying health conditions. Overall, while it offers potential health benefits, consumers should consult healthcare professionals before starting supplementation.
