Nemesis: Reloaded Paperback – July 18, 2023

**** Nemesis Reloaded has elicited varied responses from its audience, showcasing a blend of both appreciation and critique. A distinguishing feature of this comic is its expanded narrative, where readers note that the story has been fleshed out with a deeper backstory and more developed characters compared to its predecessor. For those who enjoyed the original, many express that this sequel is superior and worth the read, offering a longer format that allows fans to dive deeper into the world crafted by Mark Millar. However, not all feedback is positive. Some readers express dissatisfaction with the writing, feeling that certain plot points are predictable and the execution lacks fresh ideas. Critiques also target the portrayal of violence, with some deeming it excessive and gratuitous, leading to uncomfortable reactions due to the sadistic elements present in the narrative. Furthermore, while the artwork has its admirers, there are comments suggesting it veers too closely to a hasty manga style, lacking the finesse found in Millar's other collaborations. In summary, Nemesis Reloaded is a comic that may resonate strongly with Millar's fans who value character development and intricate storytelling, but it may not satisfy those seeking originality or a more subdued approach to violence and plot progression. **
