FALLER Watercraft Kits TSM-5716 Editorial Review
The Trumpeter 1/700 USS Lexington CV2 Aircraft Carrier May 1942 Model Kit is an impressive plastic model kit. The level of detail is astounding, from the tiny propellers to the detailed landing gear on the included planes. The model kit comes with an acrylic base with wave action for display purposes, and it can also be built as a full hull. With 519 pieces, this model is not for beginners, but with some patience, any modeler could create something special with this kit. One downside is that the planes are molded in clear plastic, which may make it difficult to see where the landing gear and propellers connect. However, overall, this is an awesome model that would be a perfect addition to the collection of any fan of World War II.
