BOXI Lift Supports Editorial Review
The BOXI Front Hood Lift Support Shock Strut has garnered a mix of reactions from Audi A3 owners who have purchased it as a replacement for their vehicle. Many users appreciate the straightforward installation process, noting that it is easy to set up and fits perfectly in their cars. The strut appears to be well-received in terms of value for money, with several customers stating that it offers a similar quality to the original components at a significantly lower price. Feedback on performance is largely positive, with several customers mentioning that it allows for smooth lifting and closing of the hood, which is essential for convenience and ease of access. However, there are some notable concerns regarding its functionality. A few users have experienced issues with the strut providing resistance when trying to initially lift the hood after it has been closed. This "hard stop" can pose a problem, as it may lead to the need for excessive force, leaving some customers worried about potential damage to their vehicle's hood. Overall, while the BOXI Hood Lift Support is generally praised for its cost-effectiveness and installation ease, its performance Consistency could benefit from further improvement to enhance customer confidence in its durability and reliability over time. **
