Smartby Remote Controls MR21GA Editorial Review
The Universal for LG Magic Remote Control MR22GA MR21GA has garnered a mixed reception among users. Generally, customers appreciate its straightforward functionality, especially those seeking a basic remote control for their LG TVs. This remote works immediately upon installation of batteries, requiring no programming or pairing, which is a significant advantage for users who want a hassle-free experience. Customers have found it to be an excellent alternative at a budget-friendly price point, typically ranging from $9.95 to $12.99. Many reviews commend its effectiveness for basic use, such as controlling volume and channels, thereby making it a suitable choice for those uninterested in advanced features. However, the remote’s lack of the advanced functionalities—namely, the voice search and pointer features found in the original LG Magic Remote—has been a prominent downside for some users. Those who are accustomed to the original remote's capabilities may find the absence of these features limiting. Moreover, there have been mentions of slight lag in performance, which could detract from the overall user experience. This remote is deemed ideal for users who prioritize cost-effectiveness and simplicity over advanced technology. In sum, the Universal for LG Magic Remote Control MR22GA MR21GA is a reliable and affordable choice for those in need of a basic replacement remote, with the understanding that it does not include the enhanced features of its predecessor. **
