CHAUVET DJ Lighting Accessories RFC Editorial Review
The CHAUVET DJ CHDDJ Stage Light Accessory RFC has garnered mixed reactions from customers, particularly those already familiar with the functionality of existing CHAUVET DJ products like the GigBar Move + ILS. Users express some dissatisfaction with the RFC, noting that it doesn't significantly enhance the experience or ease of use—primarily serving as a duplicate of the original controller that comes with the GigBar Move. Some reviewers had higher expectations of simplification through the additional handheld controller, only to discover that the overall functionality remained similar. There are critiques about the design of the remote, including the telescoping antenna and the reliance on an odd battery type, which seems to have a limited lifespan, often lasting only through a couple of events. This has led to some frustration over the need to frequently replace expensive batteries. Overall, while there are no major functional flaws in the device, it hasn't impressed users searching for innovative features or improvements over existing products within the same lineup. **
