Hellwig Helpers Editorial Review
The Hellwig 978 EZ-990 Helper Spring Kit has received mixed reviews. Some users have found the installation process to be easy and straightforward and have reported positive experiences when towing heavy loads. The springs were praised for maintaining the unloaded ride height and improving stability when towing. However, some customers have complained about missing or damaged hardware, leading to additional expenses and inconvenience. There have been reports of noise and rattling from the attachment hardware when driving over bumps, although some users have found ways to mitigate this by adding rubber washers and tubing. Overall, the helper spring kit seems to have received a somewhat polarized reception, with some users praising its performance when towing heavy loads, while others have encountered issues with missing or damaged hardware and noise.
