RiverRidge Bookcases, Cabinets & Shelves 02-146 Editorial Review
The RiverRidge 02-147 Floor Cabinet in Gray is a great piece of furniture for a nursery or kids' room. The cabinet is made of MDF (medium-density fibreboard), which is sturdy enough to hold a lot of items. The cabinet is heavy and stable, and it comes with mounting hardware to secure it to the wall for safety. The assembly is easy with clear, concise pictures for instruction. The packaging is nice, compact, and not wasteful. The cabinet has ample storage space and easy to clean. However, customers have had mixed experiences with this product. Some customers mentioned that the cabinet was easy to assemble, sturdy, and useful. However, some customers faced issues with defects in the particle board, chipping of white paint, and the screw heads poking out from the front of the shelf, which was deemed unsafe for kids. There were also some customers who reported odor issues, but some mentioned that they did not notice any odor. Also, there were questions posed about the white/gray color of the cabinet, formaldehyde warning, and box dimensions. There was a sudden price rise that customers noted in May or June 2020 for this cabinet.
