Rokinon SLR Camera Lenses CV12M-MFT Editorial Review
**** The Rokinon 12mm Cine Lens has garnered a generally positive reception among videographers and photographers alike. Users praise its exceptional image quality, producing sharp and vibrant visuals that enhance their footage significantly. When paired with cameras like the GH5 and BMPCC 6k Pro, this lens shines, revealing crisp details that contribute to a professional look. The build quality of the lens is frequently highlighted, with many noting its sturdy Construction and reassuring weight, which instills confidence during shoots. The manual focus capability, while presenting a learning curve for some, becomes a favorite feature among those who appreciate the control it affords over their shots. The declicked focus ring is particularly beneficial for users operating with stabilizers, allowing for smoother adjustments during filming. However, it's important to note a few drawbacks. A recurring criticism is centered on the tightness of the focus ring, which can complicate adjustments on gimbals or rigs without causing the entire setup to topple. Although some users find it manageable after adjusting their equipment, it can be a source of frustration for others. Additionally, being a manual focus lens, newcomers might find adapting to its usage challenging, especially if accustomed to autofocus systems. In summary, the Rokinon 12mm Cine Lens is an excellent choice for those seeking quality without compromising on control, making it a valuable addition to any filmmaker's kit. **
