Nutritionist's Take
Herb Pharm Andrographis Liquid Extract is valued by nutritionists for its immune-supporting properties, particularly due to its active compound, andrographolide, which may enhance the immune response. The product is made from quality herbal ingredients, aligning with the preference for natural supplements in various dietary needs. Many find it particularly beneficial during cold season or in promoting overall health. However, potential drawbacks include insufficient scientific evidence for some health claims, especially related to its efficacy in treating specific conditions. Moreover, liquid extracts can be contraindicated for those with certain allergies or on specific medications. Overall, the product can be considered a healthy choice for individuals seeking herbal support for immune health, provided they consult with a healthcare professional, especially if they have existing health conditions.
Herb Pharm Echinacea DANDRO01 Editorial Review
The Herb Pharm Andrographis Liquid Extract is a whole plant herbal tincture that supports the immune system. It is made from organic and GMO-free Andrographis herb (Andrographis paniculata) extract. Each dropper bulb contains 175mg of the herb, and the dry herb to menstruum ratio is 1:4. The suggested use is to add one full squeeze of the dropper bulb to 2 oz of water or juice, two to four times per day, best taken between meals. Customer reviews indicate that this liquid extract has helped shorten the duration of colds and may be useful for fending off tick bites. However, the taste is described as bitter and unpleasant, and some customers suggest taking it with a strong-tasting drink to mask the taste.
