Plews Air Dryers Editorial Review
The Plews & Edelmann 56-081 Desiccant Dryer is a quart-sized unit that is good for plasma cutting, media blasting, and painting. It holds a lot of silica beads, which can be seen in the Sight glass to indicate when they need to be changed. It is well-made with thick steel and doesn't leak. Several users purchased this unit as an upgrade from a Harbor Freight desiccant dryer and have noticed a significant improvement in air quality. The unit is heavy, well-Constructed, and holds 3.5 cups of desiccant. However, it does not come with a bracket and the holes on top are not tapped. Users recommend putting on a valved off branch air line and only using it when necessary to avoid corrosion. Overall, it is built like a tank, made in the USA, and is a great investment for those who use sprayers or need dry air for their work.
