Nutritionist's Take
Integrative Therapeutics Buffered Vitamin C Capsules provide a significant dose of vitamin C in a gentle, buffered form, making it easier on the stomach, which is beneficial for those sensitive to acidity. With 1,000 mg per capsule, it's positioned as a potent immune and antioxidant support supplement. The product is gluten-free and suitable for vegans, expanding its accessibility for those with specific dietary restrictions. Nutritionally, vitamin C is crucial for the synthesis of collagen, immune function, and as a powerful antioxidant that helps combat oxidative stress. However, high doses may lead to gastrointestinal issues in some individuals. It’s essential for consumers to assess their overall vitamin C intake from food sources. While the formulation appears quality-controlled, consulting a healthcare professional before starting any high-dose supplement is recommended, especially for individuals with pre-existing conditions or those on medications. Overall, this product can be a healthy choice within a balanced diet.
