- Untiring and insatiable, Vlad in Tears are always looking for new sounds, arrangements, blending the melodies perfectly with very dark sounds ranging from 80s Wave to the hardest and most modern rock sounds with heavy guitars. The strongest point of the Band is the voice of the singer Kris, which has no limits.Kris about Porpora: This album is absolutely our most important work so far. It took us almost 2 years to make. It's been written during the lock-down, in fact, all the topics treated in this album are related to loneliness, sorrow, dark heavy thoughts about death, self harm and suicide. I've been personally struggling with these heavy thoughts myself, and, writing these songs it has been very therapeutic.I believe that whoever has been facing these hard times and feelings at least once in their life, will find this album meaningful and helpful, since I've managed to survive those dark times and I have written about it.We can't simply give up to our hopes and dreams, we have to keep fighting for it.
