- PonyCycle® is the original ride-on horse toy that moves forward as a child bounces — no batteries, no motor. Unlike rocking horses or battery-powered ride-ons, a PonyCycle is powered entirely by the child's own bouncing. The child rises and sits in the saddle, the legs step, and the pony carries them across the room. Model E is the essential PonyCycle — the same bounce-to-move mechanism and the same built-in hand brake as every model, at the most accessible price in the range. Size 4 fits ages 4 to 7 and carries riders up to 88 lb. Ride it on flat, smooth, continuous hard surfaces without gaps, seams or raised edges. Adult supervision is recommended outdoors. Every child dreams of a pony of their own. This is the one that fits through the front door — which is what makes a PonyCycle a birthday or holiday gift that is still being ridden long after the wrapping is gone.
