What are the key features of the LS2 Helmets Open Face Infinity II Helmet?

The LS2 Helmets Open Face Infinity II Helmet boasts a lightweight, durable construction with an advanced polycarbonate shell for maximum protection. Its comfortable interior is lined with moisture-wicking fabric and is removable for easy cleaning. The helmet also features a wide eye port for an expanded field of vision and includes a clear visor for enhanced visibility. This balance of comfort, style, and functionality makes it ideal for city cruising or long rides.

Is the LS2 Open Face Infinity II Helmet DOT approved?

Yes, the LS2 Open Face Infinity II Helmet is DOT approved, ensuring compliance with safety standards set by the Department of Transportation. This certification means it has passed rigorous testing for its protective capabilities. Riders can feel confident knowing they are equipped with a helmet that has been deemed safe for use on the road, making it a reliable choice for daily commuting or leisurely rides. Always check the certification inside the helmet before use.

How do I properly clean my LS2 Infinity II Helmet?

Cleaning your LS2 Infinity II Helmet is straightforward. Start by removing the interior padding, which is often machine washable. Use mild soap and warm water to clean the exterior and visor. Avoid using chemical cleaners that could damage the helmet's finish. For an enhanced look and longevity, use a soft cloth to dry the helmet after cleaning. Regular maintenance can prolong the lifespan of the helmet, making it look fresh and ensuring a comfortable fit.

What sizes are available for the LS2 Helmets Open Face Infinity II Helmet?

The LS2 Helmets Open Face Infinity II Helmet is available in a variety of sizes, typically ranging from small to extra-large. This wide range helps ensure a better fit for various head shapes. It's crucial to measure your head circumference and refer to the sizing chart provided by LS2 to select the appropriate size. A properly fitted helmet enhances comfort and safety, reducing the risk of slips or movement while riding.

Can I use the LS2 Infinity II Helmet for off-road riding?

While the LS2 Infinity II Helmet is primarily designed for street use, it can be utilized for light off-road riding depending on the terrain. However, it does not have the same protective features as full-face or motocross helmets specifically designed for rugged conditions. For casual off-road trails or short excursions, it may suffice, but for more aggressive trails or extreme conditions, a dedicated off-road helmet would provide better protection.

What kind of ventilation system does the LS2 Infinity II Helmet have?

The LS2 Infinity II Helmet is equipped with an effective ventilation system that includes multiple air intakes and exhausts. This design promotes airflow around the head, keeping you cool and comfortable on long rides. The strategic placement of vents helps reduce fogging on the visor as well, allowing for clear visibility even in varying temperatures. This feature is particularly beneficial during warm weather riding, providing a refreshing experience.

Are there any additional accessories available for the LS2 Infinity II Helmet?

Yes, LS2 offers a range of accessories that complement the Infinity II Helmet. These include additional visors, chin straps, and communication systems. Riders can enhance their helmet experience by adding tinted or anti-fog visors for improved visibility under different conditions. Additionally, tech accessories like Bluetooth devices can be installed for hands-free communication, making your rides more connected and enjoyable.

How does the LS2 Open Face Infinity II Helmet compare to other open-face helmets?

The LS2 Open Face Infinity II Helmet stands out due to its advanced materials and ergonomic design, combining safety with style. Compared to other open-face helmets, it offers superior comfort through its moisture-wicking interior lining and customizable fit. Moreover, the wide field of vision and lightweight structure make it suitable for both daily commutes and long-distance rides. Riders looking for a helmet that balances performance with a classic open-face style will find this model particularly appealing.

What colors and designs are available for the LS2 Infinity II Helmet?

The LS2 Infinity II Helmet comes in a variety of colors and designs, ranging from classic solids to bold graphics. This selection allows riders to choose a helmet that suits their personal style and motorcycle aesthetics.
