The interior is made of coated cast iron that is easy to wash and does not transfer extra iron into the food. It requires a little seasoning upon first use. The height is 3.74 inches for the bottom and additional 3.4-4 inches for the lid. The bottom measures 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches. Some customers found it smaller than anticipated but loved the smaller size. There were mixed comments on the color, some customers found that the color was slightly darker than what was shown online, while others loved the color. Some customers reported imperfections and scratches, while others received it in perfect condition. Overall, it is regarded as an heirloom quality product that is beautiful and offers excellent value for the price.
