Nutritionist's Take
NOW Foods Empty Gelatin Capsules are predominantly made from bovine-sourced gelatin, which is popular for those looking to encapsulate their own supplements or powders. These double '00' capsules provide a convenient way to take vitamins, herbs, or other powders without additional fillers. Nutritionists generally appreciate the quality of NOW Foods products, given their commitment to sourcing high-grade ingredients and transparency in manufacturing. However, for individuals following strict vegetarian or vegan diets, the bovine gelatin content may pose a drawback. Additionally, while these capsules themselves contain no nutritional value, their main benefit lies in enabling customized supplementation. Overall, they can be considered a useful supplement tool, but users should ensure compatibility with their dietary preferences and consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
