Answer: Yes compatible if your memory in your motherboard is ddr4 only not ddr3 and your computer it will run the lowest speed ( for example: If you have memory already in your computer speed is 2133Mhr and you went pay another one 2400Mhr the computer it will run the lowest speed) -

Will this work in a laptop?
Answer: It will not, you need a SODIMM kit, please do refer to your laptop manual for more specifics on compatibility requirements. -

Is this DDR3 or DDR4 memory?
Answer: I am pretty sure this is ddr4 as that is what it was labeled as when I bought the memory for a friend's machine . My order of this item also says that its ddr4. -
