The lid is 32 7/8" long x 12 7/8" deep x 1 3/4" high, and when closed, overlaps the box, making it mostly water-tight. However, it may not be dust-proof. The inside dimensions of the box are L- 31.5" X W-11.5" X H-12.0". The UWS ATV Tool Box is a perfect fit for a car hauler trailer, tri-tongue or travel trailer's tongue to store batteries, tools, chains, and binders, etc. It is protected with a lock and latch, providing safety and security to valuable items kept inside. It is available only in aluminum finish. Overall, It's a great product that serves its purpose, reasonably priced, and suitable for light to medium usage.
