Product Details
- The Kala Makala Classic 8-String tenor ukulele lets you craft rich, resonant tones with the classic sound of an 8-string ukulele. Designed for musicians looking to expand their sonic palette, this uke features a laminate mahogany body and neck for bold, balanced tone with impressive projection. The rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and clarity. Strung with Aquila Super Nylgut strings, this ukulele produces full, ringing notes across its range. The satin finish enhances the natural beauty of the tonewoods and gives the Kala Makala Classic 8-String tenor ukulele a sleek vintage appeal. Eight resonant strings provide a spectrum of tones With four more strings than a standard ukulele, the Makala Classic tenor ukulele offers musicians a wider range of notes and the ability to create lush chords. Strum all eight strings together to produce harmonically-rich resonance or pluck individual strings for bell-like clarity. The longer scale length of the tenor uke provides ample string tension for tuning stability and sustain. Express yourself with a broader palette of tones for folk, world and experimental styles. Premium tonewoods deliver a bold yet balanced sound The laminate mahogany used for the top, back and sides of this ukulele provides a perfect blend of warmth, brightness and projection. Mahogany is a highly resonant tonewood that emphasizes midrange frequencies important for definition and fullness. The mahogany neck also contributes to the instrument's sustain and resonance. A rosewood fingerboard adds articulation and note separation. Together, these premium tonewoods give the Makala Classic 8-String tenor ukulele a bold yet balanced voice. Play comfortably with a sleek vintage-inspired design The Makala tenor ukulele features a sleek yet sturdy construction ideal for practice and performance. Its larger tenor body provides a comfortable playing surface and space for the eight strings. The satin finish gives this ukulele an elegant vintage sheen while protecting the tonewoods. Geared tuners make it easy to keep all eight strings in tune for optimal playability. Lightweight but durable, this uke is built to go wherever your music takes you.
