YTgilo Internal Components 52639-ODSSDTG-1 Editorial Review
The Optical Drive Solid State Drive Thickened Spacer is a practical accessory designed to enhance the fit of 7mm SSDs in older laptops that typically accommodate 9.5mm drives. Customers have expressed a generally positive reception of the product, noting its effectiveness and ease of use. The spacer is particularly valued for its ability to stabilize SSDs, eliminating unwanted movement within the drive bay that could potentially damage the SATA port connector. While installation is straightforward for most users, several reviews highlight the absence of any installation instructions, which could be beneficial for some customers. Additionally, a few users experienced issues with the product quantity received, noting discrepancies with the order. Despite these minor frustrations, the majority of feedback emphasizes satisfaction with the spacer's performance, citing that it works seamlessly with well-known SSD brands like Samsung. The design of the product itself—a simple, sturdy rectangular piece of plastic with adhesive ends—serves its purpose efficiently. Overall, users recommend the Optical Drive Spacer to those with compatible systems looking to ensure a secure fit for their SSDs. **
