Sterling Slings & Runners Editorial Review
The Sterling RIT Bound Loop Prusik 18" with Ring has received a mixed yet generally positive reception from customers. Users appreciate the quality of the prusik loop and the craftsmanship evident in the splicing. Many are excited about the product, particularly Considering its price point, which they feel offers good value for a well-made item. However, there is some criticism regarding the placement of the splice, which is reportedly much farther from the ring than depicted in promotional images. This design choice has led to concerns about the usability of the prusik in certain scenarios, as some users found it challenging to get the necessary number of wraps for proper friction management – a crucial element for maintaining safety while working at heights. Despite this drawback, the removable ring feature has been highlighted as a positive aspect, allowing for adjustability depending on the user's needs. Overall, the Sterling RIT Bound Loop Prusik 18" offers quality and reliable performance, but its design specifics may require careful Consideration for optimal use. **
