Answer: It should be, but you also have to be sure the cables and connections are all good and tight. YUSA batteries seem to be some of best besides Harley Orem batteries. -

Answer: I have a 1988 sportster and I replaced my stock starter with this one. I made it a 1200 from a 883. Plenty of power to crank it over no problem. -

Does a OEM starter gasket fit this starter?
Answer: That's what I used on my 2006 sportster and OEM gasket worked no problem. Get a round ended Allen key for the bolt inside primary that's next to teeth (only hard part of job). -

Answer: Starter drive clutch? It's a complete starter just pull you old one and put this in, all done, ready to go. -

Answer: No it does not. You have to buy one. It's s Harley...... You should know better than to think it is all inclusive. -

Answer: If it’s for a 1200 it fit mine and cranked over faster!
