Racewill Lowering Kits Editorial Review
The 4 inch Universal Leaf Spring Lowering Block Kits have garnered a mix of experiences from users, predominantly showcasing a favorable reception for their overall functionality and ease of installation. Customers have appreciated the quality of materials, highlighting that the blocks and included U-bolts serve their purpose well. Many users reported satisfaction with how the lowering blocks altered the stance of their vehicles, ensuring a pleasing visual appeal, particularly praising the evenness achieved in their trucks. Several customers noted the straightforward installation process, which contributed to positive experiences and satisfaction. However, feedback about the accompanying U-bolts was less glowing, with some reviewers expressing concerns about their durability and fit—specifically citing low-quality Construction and issues with compatibility for certain axle sizes. Users highlighted the importance of checking shock travel after installation to avoid overextension, recommending the use of longer shocks as needed. Although there were minor complaints about specific features, such as the lack of serrated flange nuts and the need for angling the blocks to maintain proper pinion angles, the overall sentiment leans positive. While some drawbacks were acknowledged, particularly regarding the U-bolts, the kit's basic components performed foundationally well in meeting user expectations. **
