The wallet is made of excellent smooth leather and is 100% genuine leather. It has ample room for all credit and membership cards. The purse data's size is vast and can hold a cell phone, so you don't need another purse. The wallet zips half way around and snaps the other half that has slots for credit cards. However, the checkbook may not fit well in the wallet, depending on the number of cards in the card slots and the check's bulk. It comes with no shoulder strap, it was more significant than expected, and the zipper sometimes gets stuck.
