Nutritionist's Take
Potassium Plus Iodine 180 Tablets offer a blend of potassium and iodine, both of which are crucial for maintaining bodily functions. Potassium aids in muscle function, nerve signaling, and fluid balance, while iodine is essential for thyroid health and metabolism regulation. Nutritionists generally support supplementing these nutrients, especially in individuals with specific dietary restrictions, such as vegetarians or those in areas with low iodine levels. However, it's important to assess the quality of ingredients and the potential for excessive potassium intake, which can be detrimental, especially in individuals with kidney issues. Additionally, the health claims should align with scientific evidence. Overall, while this product can be beneficial for some, a consultation with a healthcare provider is recommended to ensure it's a suitable option based on individual health needs.
NOW Foods Potassium Editorial Review

Many reviews highlight its effectiveness, particularly for those needing additional potassium in their diet without relying solely on bananas. Moreover, the iodine component is noted for potentially helping in the prevention of infections, a useful aspect for overall health.
