CMENINCY American Pattern Files Editorial Review
The Nicholson 12-Inch Half Round Double Cut Bastard File has garnered a mixed reception from customers, with reviews highlighting both its utility and its shortcomings. Customers generally agree that the file is sharp and well-Constructed, effectively serving its purpose for rough work. However, the lack of a handle has been a major point of contention, as many find the bare tang uncomfortable to grip. Several users noted that the file's quality appears questionable, particularly in terms of the steel used and the overall workmanship. Some reviews pointed out that the file is not as smooth or Consistently flat as one might expect, which can affect its performance on certain tasks. While some users recognized that for the price point (around $15), the file offers decent value for rough applications, others felt that the flaws in the design and quality made it disappointing overall. In summary, this product may be suitable for those seeking a basic metal file for coarse work, but it may not meet the expectations of users looking for precision or comfort in design. **
