Granite Ware Roasting Pans 319866 Editorial Review
The Granite Ware 19-Inch Roasting Pan with V-Rack is receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from users who appreciate its quality and performance in the kitchen. Many customers have noted that the pan is spacious enough to accommodate large meats, such as turkeys and hams, making it an ideal choice for family gatherings and holiday feasts. The nonstick surface is particularly praised for making cleanup a breeze, although some users mention that it requires a bit of scrubbing for particularly baked-on bits. The design features, including the V-rack which elevates the meat, have proven beneficial for even cooking and allow for delicious drippings to be used in gravies or to roast vegetables simultaneously. Users have expressed satisfaction with the pan’s sturdy Construction and higher sides that help contain drippings, differentiating it from inferior alternatives. The granite speckle pattern is also a visual hit, lending an appealing aesthetic to the cookware. However, there have been some critiques regarding the size specifications, particularly that the V-rack may be too small for very large turkeys, with some users feeling it could only handle up to 12-14 pounds comfortably. Additionally, a few users have commented on the handles being uncomfortable during hot oven removal, prompting caution when using potholders. Overall, the Granite Ware roasting pan garners strong recommendations for its practicality and longevity, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone who enjoys roasting meats and cooking for larger gatherings. **
