Beacon Adhesives Editorial Review
The Beacon Adhesives Foam-Tac is a popular adhesive among the RC aircraft community. It is specifically designed for working with foam, making it perfect for repairing and building various foam products. Users have reported successful repairs on foam dolls, EDFs (if made of foam), and even floor foam tiles. According to the FAQ section, Foam-Tac dries in 15-20 minutes and fully cures in 2-14 hours. While this may not be ideal for quick, in-the-field repairs, it provides ample time for most repair jobs. Customer reviews are generally positive, with users praising the durability and ease of use of this adhesive. It has been described as a "miracle worker" for foam RC planes. However, there have been a few complaints about the tube popping and making a mess when squeezing the adhesive out. Overall, the Beacon Adhesives Foam-Tac is a reliable adhesive for foam products. It offers strong bonding, flexibility, and ease of use. While it may not be the most cost-effective option for projects involving a large quantity of acoustic foam tiles, it is highly recommended for RC aircraft repairs and other foam-related projects.
