Answer: No, the Scosche CR1297DDB is specifically designed for Double DIN radios only. -

What tools do I need for installation?
Answer: No special tools are required; all necessary hardware is included with detailed instructions. -

Can I use this kit for radios that are labeled as Double DIN but are oversized?
Answer: You may need to do some minor trimming to accommodate larger radios that are labeled as Double DIN. -

What’s the ideal radio size for this bezel ?
Answer: The Radio cut out of this kit is a standard Double DIN size. 173mm wide x 96.8mm tall. This kit will work with True Double DIN Radios with screen faces 6.2 - 6.8 inches. Some Radios that are labeled as Double DIN are actually oversize. You may have to do some minor trimming inside the kit in order to make a larger Radio fit. If you need additional assistance please contact Scosche Tech Support at 800-363-4490 Ext. 3. -

Answer: Its a new radio bezel kit so to install a double din radio in a Ram equipped with a factory 8.4 radio. -

Answer: No, this kit is designed for Double DIN Radios only. -

How long and wide is the open spot for the stereo?
Answer: Scosche CR1297DDB accommodates standard single din and 7 x 4 double-din aftermarket radios, for more information please contact Scosche Industries 800-363-4490 Ext. 3 -
Question:
Will this kit fit a 6.2” pioneer radio?
Answer: Yes, this fits 6.2 - 6.75 standard double DIN stereos. Not all aftermarket stereos offer the same size screens and some are considered oversized. -
Question:
How does the climate control work if the 8.4 screen controls alot of it?
Answer: This kit is designed for use with a Maestro compatible radio and Maestro RR interface that replaces the factory Climate Control. If you want to install a radio that is not Maestro compatible, you need Scosche ITCCR04B. For more information please contact Scosche Tech Support at 800-363-4490 Ext. 3.
