You can hang the monkey from a doorknob or place it in a crouch position, so it "stands" on its own. A hand-held scanner is included to find the monkey, and when you find it, the monkey makes monkey noises. However, some customers have had problems with the toy's radio signal, which may not be strong enough to work outside of the room it was hidden in.
