Astatic Headsets & Microphones 302-10036 Editorial Review
The Astatic RD104E Road Devil Amplified CB Microphone is a popular choice among CB radio users. It is designed to fit most 4-pin mic sockets, including Cobra 29 and Galaxy DX2547 home base. However, it may not work with Kenwood TS520S radio. The microphone has a sensitive volume control, so small adjustments can make a big difference in audio. It can amplify your voice going into the radio, increasing the sound coming out whether it be going to the antenna or the PA speaker. Some users have reported issues with feedback and modulation, which may be due to operator error or radio settings. It is compatible with Uniden PC 78 LTX radio and can work with Midland CB radios with the use of an adapter.
