- NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SELF-DETECT MODELS: Not compatible with Vitamix Ascent or Venturist Self-Detect blenders. These models require chip-enabled containers; this adapter and cups do not include a chip, so the blender will not run. These models can also be identified by a small metal disc on the container rim and usually have a digital timer display on the base.
