Cartooning Editorial Review
Adventures in Cartooning is a wonderfully imaginative book that encourages creativity, illustrating how anyone can create cartoons using essential shapes like circles and lines. Created by James Sturm and inspired by Ed Emberly's philosophy, it combines a fun storyline with practical lessons in cartooning. Readers are introduced to a knight and a cast of quirky characters, learning about comic structures and the differences between speech, thought, and action bubbles. With its engaging narrative and humor, it's perfect for kids aged 3 to 12, inspiring young readers to create their comics. The high-quality semi-glossy paper adds to its appeal, making it a delightful addition to any child's library.
