The vinyl posts sleeve over the 4x4 posts, or one can use bolt-down brackets to secure a 4x4 post on top of the deck. Unfortunately, there are currently no arbor extension kits available for this unit. Overall, customers seem happy with their purchase of the New England Arbors Freemont Pergola and find it easy to install. However, one downside is that the unit cannot be made taller. New England Arbors does not have a showroom in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area where customers can see the pergola assembled.
