Cabot Stains Editorial Review
**** Cabot's wood stain products have garnered a mix of experiences from customers, highlighting both the effectiveness and some challenges associated with their application. Many users praise the brand for its longevity and reliability, often comparing it favorably against competitors like Thompson's. Customers have noted that the stain offers an excellent level of protection, repelling water effectively after application. Its easy application method, whether by wiping, mopping, or spraying, has also been well received, placing Cabot's above other brands in terms of user-friendliness. However, the product does have its downsides. A few users reported issues with texture, noting that the water-like Consistency can lead to messy applications, especially on vertical surfaces. This raises concerns over wastefulness, suggesting that a paint sprayer might be more efficient for use. Additionally, some users questioned the longevity of the stain in harsh weather conditions after experiencing fading and peeling, particularly during rainy seasons. Overall, while Cabot wood stains appear to hold up well under normal circumstances and provide a nice finish, potential buyers should be cautious about their application technique to maximize product efficiency. **
