- This three-item bundle includes one Sundown Audio SA-15 D4 Classic 15-inch car subwoofer, one Rockville dB14 mono amplifier, and one Rockville RWK41 4 AWG installation kit. The package supplies the driver, amplifier, and primary wiring for a custom subwoofer system. A compatible enclosure is required and not included.Matched Bass Performance: The SA-15 D4 Classic handles 1000 watts RMS and 2000 watts peak through dual 4-ohm voice coils. Wiring the coils in parallel creates a 2-ohm final load, matching the dB14 output of 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohms. The subwoofer uses a 2.5-inch voice coil, 19 mm Xmax, a cast aluminum frame, double-layer Nomex spider, paper cone, Faraday ring, and spring-loaded terminals.Amplifier Control: The Class D dB14 includes a 50 to 250 Hz low-pass filter, a 15 to 55 Hz subsonic filter, adjustable bass equalization, phase control, and remote dashboard level adjustment. Its MOSFET power supply, soft-start system, IC-controlled protection, and voltage protection support stable operation. The amplifier is rated at 600 watts RMS at 4 ohms.Complete Wiring: The RWK41 kit includes 17 feet of 4 AWG power cable, 3 feet of 4 AWG ground cable, 17 feet of remote wire, 17 feet of speaker wire, and a 17-foot copper RCA cable. It also supplies an AGU fuse holder, split loom, terminals, connectors, ties, spades, and grommets. The flexible PVC jacket supports routing through vehicle interiors and under-hood areas.Installation Planning: The subwoofer requires a 14-inch cutout, 7.69-inch mounting depth, and about 0.17 cubic foot of displacement. Recommended enclosure options include 2.5 cubic feet sealed or 3.5 cubic feet ported with 35 square inches of port area and 35 Hz tuning. The dB14 uses a 100-amp Maxi fuse, so confirm the fuse supplied with the wiring kit and install correctly sized circuit protection. Verify charging capacity, secure grounding, final impedance, enclosure fit, and gain settings before use.
